Is everything second-hand?

Yes, all the goods we sell are second-hand. Selected and sourced specifically for AWAYDAY.

How does the shipping work?

Shipping

Our listings are located across New Zealand. Each listing includes the item’s location.

Small homewares
We offer flat-rate shipping for smaller homewares. This option can be selected at checkout where available:

  • $12 nationwide
  • $17 rural NZ

Furniture and larger items
Shipping is not included in the sale price and is the buyer’s responsibility. Costs depend on the size, weight, and location of the item.

You can:

  • arrange pick-up directly from the seller, or
  • organise your own courier service

We recommend using Wise Move.

What is the condition of the items?

We have a high standard of condition for the items we re-sell. However, everything is pre-loved so there can be marks and imperfections. We will mention any imperfections in the description of the item.

What if I don't like what I buy?

Sorry, sales are final here at AWAYDAY. However, you are welcome to re-list it if it doesn't suit you.
